Would you buy 1987 rolls royce for $25,000 or a 2010 toyota camry for $25000? why?

Question: Would you buy 1987 rolls royce for $25,000 or a 2010 toyota camry for $25000? why?

The 1987 rolls royce would have around 235, 000 miles on it, with 12 cylinder 500 horsepower or so and leather seats and spacious interior. In comparison the camry would have cloth seats, 4 cylinders and around 200 horsepower only.

Neither. I would find a one year old Mazda 6 w/ a V6 engine. It would be a better ride over the Camry & a lot cheaper to insure/ maintain than a Rolls.

Why would I buy a rolls-royce with over 200,000 miles on it? As for the Camry, why would I buy a disgusting looking car that drives like it's on ice and is made by a company that loves to hide defects? What I would buy for this price is most likely a Ford Fusion or a used BMW 3-series.

I think you don't have a clue about either car and you're just wasting time and space on this forum.

Would you buy 1987 rolls royce for $25,000 No, I would not. or a 2010 toyota camry for $25000? No, I would not. why? Because I'm not interested in either one. I'm quite happy with what I currently have.

I agree with the others. But If I *had* to choose only those 2 - the Camry. Start making calls right now. Let me know how long it takes you to find brake pads and rotos for a 23 yr old Rolls. If you can even find them at all, let me know how much they cost. Parts on those things are astronomical, and you will need a lot of em.

Well, neither actually. Why would you buy a 23 year old Rolls Royce? The repair costs and maintenance for this kind of car will be out of this world! It's just not worth it! For $25,000 you can buy a Brand New car! Don't buy a Toyota Camry, they are recalling them now for the stuck gas pedal issue. Could be dangerous. For $25,000 your best bet would be to buy a Brand New 2010 Honda Accord Sedan!! Or a 2010 Mazda 6, or even a 2010 Nissan Altima!!! They are extremely reliable and you would be getting a brand new car! There is no point in wasting 25K$ on a 23 year old Rolls Royce (again I'll say it bluntly; it's too old, it's too expensive to fix and maintain, and the image you create for yourself would be negative - What person drives a car like this??) It just doesn't make any practical/ financial/ logical sense to buy a 20 year old car for that amount of money when you can get a brand new one!!!
