Question: Should womenfolk be dissuaded from operating motor cars?
(Posted by: Citizen DeCat on 2009-12-19 10:36:33)
In the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, traffic congestion is becoming a major problem. This causes excess air pollution, monetary loss and general misery. Might I suggest that a solution could be to refuse the weaker sex access to the keys of a motor car or other powered vehicle. This would have an immediate effect on reducing volume of traffic and make life that much more easier for my good self. Surely such sacrifice is worthwhile for my benefit. I would personally compensate each female 'in kind', subject to discretion. |

Women should be encouraged to be equal to men in every respect. This will be a huge boost to the quality of life in the western world. Oppressing women and treating them a demeaning manner, denying them education and equality is a muslim thing and has no place in our western culture. |

The only reason I bought my particular member of the weaker sex a car, was to save me the trouble of driving her everywhere. This means I can stay at home and, for example, drink beer, generating happiness, prosperity for the breweries and the treasury. Maybe some air pollution in the case of certain lagers... Your proposal puts much of my free time, and that of every married man at risk. No chance. Are you by any chance an MEP? |

Fantastic environmental idea old boy. I don't know why they feel the need to gallivant the roads of this great country anyway. Surly they're time would be better spent doing chores around the home or preparing a lovely supper for their men folk. Thinking about how selfish they are is making my blood boil, don't they realise its the environment that suffers. Tip top. |

Oh I don't drive a motor car! Only terribly common, lower class type women would think of driving a car themselves. Horrid smelly noisy things they are. And they break down and need fixing. Tyres have to be changed....I can't bear the thought of them.I might break a nail. I have a chauffeur. So I get to the waxing parlour and the body spa on time.My Palates and swimming classes. my Yoga classes. Victoria's Secret for fittings....all the essential things that one must do during the day. You know... the things that high class women do. Driving is a very menial task. Best left to the lower orders of society |

No, silly man. However, the written drivers' test should include the question: When you signal for a left turn, do you: a. Turn on your blinkers b. Stick your hand straight out the window to dry your nail polish c. Project the thought telephatically d. Change your mind about the left turn |
