Question: Installing a stereo in 2007 mazda 3?
(Posted by: Michael M on 2010-07-28 22:00:35)
I just bought a 2007 mazda 3... what is the difficulty level of installing an aftermarket head unit into it? i noticed the OEM stereo is broken out into 3 seperate pieces... does that make it harder? where would i find a step by step installation guide for something like that? any tips and/ or visual aids would be greatly appreciated since im not very exerienced at stereo installation |

If you get the right info you could do it yourself. There is a first time for everything. Just be careful and make sure you follow every step to a "T " however I do agree with Max that a professional might be the better way to go. Although I personally don't care much for Best Buy installers. They tried telling me my dad had 6x9's in his front dash of his Astro van and that nothing else would fit when I could clearly see that he had round speakers and no room for 6x9's. When I tried to explain he told me he was the "Master Installer " and looked at me like I was an idiot. But anyway good luck. |

IF installing a radio is your first time, the difficulty level is very high. If you get the dash kit for the car it usually come with a step by step information on how to take out your factory radio. good luck |
