I drive 2004 mazda 3,i noticed sometimes the car stalls when on drive and my feet is on brake,after awhile it?
i drive 2004 mazda 3,i noticed sometimes the car stalls when on drive and my feet is on brake,after awhile it stalls roughly like its about to shut down when i drive faster and i tried to slow down but lately i noticed when i drive on high speed, apply brake to slow down the revs moves quickly from almost 0 to 1 instead of staying on just in between almost 0 and sometimes it just shuts down and i'll have to restart it and it does starts,i did a scan and i got P0001Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit Open so really don't know what this could be.Thanksi changed the fuel pump but seems there's still no difference but the only little difference is that it stalls and the rev goes up and down but not shutting wont shut off the engine.well i was told to check my MAF i tried to clean up the MAF and noticed it reduced the stalls while on not much compare to before it was cleaned but still stall a little but wont shutting down too.could this problem be a bad MAF sensor?

I am about to buy a 04 Mazda rx8 6 speed manual with 89000 miles. The car is very nice but has 2 problems, the check engine is on and it takes about 4 6 secs to start, but after that it runs perfect. another thing is there is white chunk on the oil dipstick but I heard thats normal. So what do u guy think is the problem? Is it worth it? How much will it cost to fix it? Thx guys

Mazda 3.0 miss fire cylinder 6 + trany issue?
i have a 3.0 lovely ford engine in my mazda tribute bought the car not running had a few different coils out and the spark plug on cylinder 6 had blown completely out of the engine. the valve cover gasket on this same head was blown and leaking oil into the spark plug tubes. it also had what sounded like a lifter ticking got all that cleared up with some sea fom in the oil and in the gas tank. re tapped the spark plug hole and fixed the leaky gasket. no big deal replaced all my coils i was showing a fault for including cylinder 6. put new spark plugs in 2,4,6. but still have a miss fire on cylinder 6. pulled coil out while running and brought it to ground and i have a good spark no problems there. i also have an od light that flashes when i drive but od is not disengaged. it will reset itself when the car is turned off and then back on. need to know what that light is and why i am miss firing on cylinder 6.
