If they removed the sump and replaced your oil pump, learn from this experience!!! You have been using really cheap oil, or regular, conventional oil for a long time. When it breaks down, it makes sludge, EVERYWHERE!! It will be in your oil galleries and baked into your valve covers. USE SYNTHETIC OIL from now on!!! It will handle heat best, and NOT make sludge inside the engine. You can extend oil drain intervals, too. This means you will save $$$$$ in the long run!! Mobil One is GREAT, and so is Pennzoil Ultra. TOTAL is even better!! GOod luck!!

It,s very important to get it out or it could get around the bearings then the bearings could go bad. also if he replaced the pump he should have cleaned out the oil pan.
