Question: Automatic lights for 2007 ford ranger?

Just got a 2007 ford ranger and would like to put automatic headlights on it so i will not leave them on and run down the battery.

Ford doesn't have this option for the Ranger. When you cut the engine off and open the door you get an audible pulsing chime.

Automatic how? To turn-off when the key is OFF ?? Some kind of sunlight sensor ?? Buzz when lights are on & key isn't ??
