Question: Which are faster: manual mode auto or manual stick shift transmission?

Hello, I was wondering which transmission shift faster, the original stick shift or the manual mode in automatics. Ps. I'm already aware that manual stick shifts are more fun that other stick shifts, just wondering one on one, which is fastest. Thank you.

The new double clutch gearboxes are the fastest, I am talking about the F1 boxes gear shift time is in milli secs apparently it changes within a blink of your eye. These gearboxes come in cars like the Nissan GTR (R35), Ferrari 430 and so on this is the new type of transmission which gets used in a lot of the new sports and super cars coming into the market today. Personally I think a dog box (sequential gearbox) with a clutch is as fast and more fun.
