Question: Vaxuhall vectra 2.2 auto 03 reg. 69k with full service history?

My friend is interested in this car, being a petrol he averages 12k- 15k miles a year how long would this car last him with proper services when needed |

One week? One month? Another five years possible. Get it RAC/ AA checked before he buys it - but usually something of that age properly looked after would go well over 100,000 miles. |

Without X ray specs to see inside it no one will know. Used cars are always a gamble. if everything is fine the engine could last another 100000 without big troubles but other components will suffer well before that like brakes, suspension etc. |

It won't last. This engine has a weak timing chain assembly, and they are prone to snapping with expensive consequences. There's a reason it's cheap. Because it's crapper than most cars. |
