Will auto insurance paint my hood?
I have an old 2000 Chevy Suburban and I recently had a huge tree branch scratch my hood. The branch was broken and hanging down way too low. Thing is, my hood had already started to chip from a previous poor paint job. Will my insurance paint my hood if I pay my deductible even though there was already previous damage? The new scratch can be considered comprehensive coverage but how does that work if the hood was chipping in a different location on the same hood?Thanks

I dont feel like filling out one of those forms where they demand to know all your personal info. Can I purchase auto insurance without car registration?
Hello guys and gals, I need your helps here, I live in California and I currently own two cars A and B , car A which I am planning to sell has not been driven in a year 2011 2012 , also I did not buy the car insurance for car A since I don't drive it anymore, in this year 2012 after I paid for the car registration renewal fee for car A, I received a letter from California DMW, stated that they were unable to send me a registration card unless I can provide them with evidences of auto insurance for car A, and unfortunately, I lost all the previous registration cards of car A during moves, so in this case, will I be able to purchase auto insurance for car A without showing registration card to the insurance agent but only with Drive's License, VIN number, etc.? Or alternatively, can I use the insurance of car B to complete registration renewal for car A? Thank you in advance.

2007 Civic, Auto, wired noise while putting into drive while rolling?
I have noticed this weird thing with my car I purchased a few months back. 2007 lx civic, automatic. IF I am rolling and put the car in drive from neutral, it will make this weird noise, rolling 3 6mph. I posted a video below, it s hard to hear. Actually putting the car in drive is a louder sound. It s at 19 secs. Please let me know if you think this is an issue. It will not make this noise if I put the car in drive from a complete stop, but it will make the noise constantly if I put the car in drive at these low speeds. So maybe you read my earlier post regarding the rusty broken rear brake line on my grocery wagon 94 Topaz spare car .I go into Auto Zone & get a piece of flaired 3 8's break line & compression fittings to connect it.Start off by sayin I have a decent pipes cutter.So auto zone rents me a flare tool to make the flare in the break line on the car right. This " made in Taiwan" flair tools & many other tool that auto zone give you to use free make a 20$ deposit & bring the tool back & it's free rental.Except they fail to tell you that this flare tool isn't worth the dynamite to blow it to hell. The first flair tool that they rented me, I broke that wing nut on the vice right away. I went back up & got another tool from them again & was a little more careful this time not to break it but.I don't see how in God's creation anyone could use this tool to make a " Dual" flare. Why in the hell can't they rent me a Snap on or a Mac tool. I would gladly pay for the rental, pay to rent the thing if it would actually do the job I made the flare with this piece of crap tool & I thought for a second that I got the thing to hold hydrolic preasure but, alas, this tool fail to make a decent flair.IDK, I'm just a little peeved because I wanted to get this thing goin so I could work on the other car tomarow.Does anyone know of a good auto part chain that would actually rent me a GOOD break line flair tool?The Chinese on was nice & shiney,,shiney,,BECAUSE THE GD WING NUTS WERE " CAST IRON" . Can you believe it? Cast iron wing nut. Real great tool. I can go get a lousy tool at Harbor Frieght store anytime I want some cheaply made imported tool.By the way, I live in the good ole USA, I thougfht I'd tell you before you asked me what country I'm from on the auto part store re..Thanks alotYEAH YEAH. That's the one. Tekton. That's the one that snapped broke the first time I used it. How the hell do you buy a GOOD flare tool for under 10 dollars?I want to rent at least a Mack or a Snap on. Have you ever heard of quality, WORKABLE, hard iron tools? The only decent Chinese brand I'd go near is Meketa or how ever you spell it. Sorry, does spelling weally mattar?
