Help vibration and popping 99 subaru outback 4cyl auto?
i need help this is my first subaru ive owned it is a 1999 outback ltd wagon and i put a new engine in it and it runs great . i noticed a popping sound when i was driving say 25 40 miles an hour i can tap the accerator and hear and feel the pop reminded me of a u joint in an older vehicle . along with this pop there is a slight vibration in reverse i noticed a little and when you acellarate anfd then let off gas it is pretty pronounced under hard accelaration you dont feel it until you let off gas . i thought it was maybe the carrier bearing u joint assembly but my friend at shop seems to think its more serious ,like transfer case going bad any help would be greatly appreciated i bought this car for my wife to drive and now it looks like im going to be spending lots more money on it before she can driveit is auto and the car has 237000 miles but im pretty sure your right on about the trans beiong strong it feels like more a driveshaft u joint kingd iof vibration i also noticed it has a vibration when you first start it up idiling you can feel ithow do you check trans for codes no check engine light on or anything

97 chev malibu. this is located front drivers side along the bottom beam that the rad sits above don't know what that's called either .I would like to replace it but i just don't know what it is or what it's function is. It seems to be made of ceramic and has 2 wire leads coming out of it. Ballast? Ground? Induction Coil? Alien Space Probe?Can you help?Would really like to know what it's function is also. I had an at faul accidet last December and my insurance policy I had with GEICO got way to expensive. I let that insurance expire. I need auto insurance but I know that it is goin to be expensive because of my accident. I have no points on my license. Does anyone out there know of any cheap, affordable insurance companies?

Sent a bill from other party's auto insurance company?
Last year September 05, 09. i got into a car accident , in Oregon. Our car was badly damaged and the other drivers damage was almost non existent. The officer deemed that a police report was not needed. Our insurance covered our damage. But on the 20th of July 2010, The other drivers insurance company sent us a bill for $5000. What can i do in this case? Are they allowed to send a bill? Why doesn't her insurance cover her?I live in Canada, the car was a rental and was covered by Royal Bank of Canada's Visa insurance The Accident was also deemed no fault on both driversmy insurance does not cover 3rd party damages. Does the fact that the police statement stated no fault on both parties matter?The exact accident was that, i rear ended her because she stopped short due to an emergency vehicle passing. And the cop did not file a report because under Oregon law reports are not needed for damages under 1500, but he did file a statement stating neither parties were at fault.

Why do carb and tbi cars take awhile to fully warm up on cool days and auto shifts harsh until it warms?

Well i have a 1990 gmc sierra with a chevy 350 that has a 700r4 transmission 2wd and i would like to know if there are any 4speed with overdrive, 5 speed, or 6 speed transmissions that would be able to fit to my current engine? I would be willing to get the computer and any other parts that go along with it, i just want to know if there are even any other transmissions that are available, but i do realize that this is a very good transmission.

What do I have to do to be covered by guilty party's insurance in an auto accident?
I filed claim with Progressive against one of their insured drivers, and they have just told me that they investigated and that their driver is not liable for my car accident. Let me give you some back story here I was driving down a 2 lane highway in the left lane going about 70 75 in a 65 . another driver was next to me in the right lane, when a 3rd driver speeds up right behind my car. Since I can't move over, I tapped my brakes to let the driver behind me know they needed to slow down. They proceed to flick me off and whatnot, then as soon as there's a gap in between my car and the car next to mine, the offending driver pulled up next to me, rolling down their window to flick me off some more. I thought this would be the end of the situation, but then the driver VERY aggressively turns their wheel toward me to run me off the road. Though the car made no contact, I tried to protect myself by swerving out of the way, in which I consequently lost control of the back end of my car. I hit the brakes and my car spun around, subsequently hitting the guard rail with my rear bumper. The offending driver drove off, and I did not get the license plate. BUT, TWO yea that's right TWO witnesses saw the accident and called the police with the other driver's tag number. The officer who filed the police report informed me that the other driver was issued a ticket for their actions.Fast forward to 3 weeks later, and insurance calls and repeating my story about 5 times, and Progressive offending party's insurance hasn't updated me on my claim. So I call them, and they said they concluded the investigation, and since their driver told them that he wasn't on that stretch of road and he didn't cause the accident, that their insurance is not liable for damages.So now I have to pay the $500 deductible and pay more on my insurance because this jerk says " I didn't do it?" There are TWO witnesses and a TICKET. What do I do?? If this person was not driving, I would not have been in an accident that day.
